Shri Vidya Guru Shri Urvashiben (My Guru)

Around from last 3 years, To satisfy my eagerness for knowing all the unknown facets of macrocosm(universe) and microcosm(my body), I was looking for a philosophical cum scientific system or path which covers everything. I started to look for a Guru who can initiate me and teach me the hidden secrets of the such knowledge. My friend who said, “It is the Guru who finds a Shishya (disciple), not at the wish of Shishya.” I just thought I will wait until my Guru will appear to me at the right time.

I am a Shakta (Shakti Upasak-Devotee) and I feel infinite love and devotion for Goddess Bahucharaji (Bala Tripura Sundari). Out of love,  I installed a Bala Yantra  at home. To meditate on the Yantra, I started reciting Beej (seed) Mantra written on the Yantra with the intention to find me a right Guru, it is said that such Mantras must not be recited without mantra Deeksha(initiation) from a capable Guru but it was Bala’s wish to take me to the Guru. I came to know about Shri Vidya straight after starting reciting this Mantra, read more and more about Shri Vidya. It attracted me so strongly especially because Shri Vidya is confluence of  Advaita Vedanta , Bhakti yoga , Raja Yoga and Tantra(Kundalini Yoga). I was reading the book of Swami Rama of Himalayas (Who was Shri Shankaracharya at one time in his life) called “Living with Himalayan Masters” where he said Shri Vidya is the highest path of all paths,highly technical, shortest and toughest too. It is said that you can only know Shri Vidya (Lalita Tripur Sundari) only if she wishes so.

It is said in fal Shruti of Lalita Sahastranamam that you must, in past lives, have done thousands of years of sadhana of all the devatas such as Vishnu, Shiva, etc. to reach this point. It is said that one can obtain initiation into Srividya only if one is in his/her or his final birth – or is verily Shiva Himself. I was sceptical whether I will be able to even get an understanding about Shri Vidya. I searched for Gurus from Jyotirmani Peeth in Uttarakhand to South India to suit my need but some places didn’t have workshops running or Gurus who can talk to me, some were too busy to talk. I can understand now that Bala had something else pre-planned for me.

The long awaiting wait supposed to be finished in mid August 2017, Being a science and technology student I never used to believe such thing as a divine interventions at such small level which drives your life and probably you wouldn’t believe me too. One day I was browsing something on my mobile phone and suddenly the website www.shrividya.com opened in front of me. I started reading about it and felt this is it, this the place I belong to. It is 4okms away from hometown Mehsana where I lived almost 25 years but never came across.

On 21 August 2017 at 3:04pm (Singapore time) I rang on the landline number given on the website. It was Somvati Amas of holy month of Shravan and lot of puja/hawan was happening on the other side of the phone. The sweet voice from other side said “Jai Ambe Jai Gurudev”, I copied and started to tell why I rang. That voice was from Shri Urvashiben-Current Peethadhipati of Kadi Shri Vidya Learning Centre of Shri Vidya Pashupat (Kashi) Parampara. I call her Gurubaa (Daughter of Shri Devibaa and Shri Shivguruji). She calmly listened and suggested to start Shri Suktam before I go to the Shri Vidya learning centre called Raj  Rajeshwari Peeth at Kadi, North Gujarat. I reciprocated and started the Shri Suktam with pure devotion. You believe me or not but then started series of dreams related to Gurus, Devi and Peetham. I called her many times within next 5-6 weeks and she always replied with motherly voice and love. I finally made my mind to see her when I travel to India in October 2017. On the very first day in India, I went to see Shri Gurubaa at Kadi with my younger brother. She explained and advised what is next to be done. Gurubaa  gave me and my brother a Mantra  Deeksha(initiation) on very auspicious day of Diwali. We feel very lucky belonging to such a rich Parampara. If we want to save the Pramapara for future generations, we have to follow it first. The Shakta shastras allow of women being Guru, or Spiritual Director, a reverence which the West has not (with rare exceptions) yet given them. Initiation by a Mother bears eightfold fruit. Indeed to the enlightened Shakta the whole universe is Stri or Shakti. Indeed, in some texts initiation by a female guru is considered the highest form of induction into Shri Vidya. As Stri already posses Devi’s attributes physiologically and psychologically.

Param Pujya Shri Urvashiben is the oldest daughter of Param Pujya Sri Devi Ba and Param Pujya Shiv Guruji who are the founders of the Shri Rajrajeshwari Peetham in Kadi.

Born on 30th October 1950, Param Pujya Urvashiben married Shri Jagdishchandra on the 10th March 1969 and have 2 sons and 2 grandchildren.  From an early age, growing up in a spiritual household,  Uravashiben received insight and knowledge of Sri Vidya from her parents and Guru Parampara culminating in her being given Purnadiksha and is currently Peethdheesh of the Kadi Shri Vidya Peetham,

In this Diwali time Shri Urvashiben (my beloved Guru Baa) and Rakeshbhai (My Guide and Guru) with other upasaks visited Gurudev’s Akhada in Kashi.

Shri Urvashiben tirelessly leads the Peetham in Gujarat and the Shri Vidya Guru lineage by teaching and guiding sadhakas in to this discipline and selflessly emanating Her divine Love. Shri Vidya Pujans and Archans are carried out daily, ans she travels at lengths around Gujarat to teach and propagate true Shri Vidya.

Having a warming smile, a radiant personality, always welcoming and full of Motherly Love, she has many disciples and has given Purnadiksha to many. She is a true living Devi (Tvarit Amba) and a leading female Shri Vidya Guru in the world.

Gurudev’s Akhada is behind Kaal Bhairav nath temple, Kashi, a place called bibi satiya, asķ any one where is Kaul Bhatt ka Akhada.

Shri Vidya Guru Shri Devshankar Trivedi ji

On the 7th day of mantra Anusthan, I would like to introduce the another precious jewel of my Guru Mandal (Circle of Gurus) who nurtured and spread the Shri Vidya Reet in last century . This my tribute to the entire Guru Mandal.

Shri Devshankar Trivedi  was  the Guru of Shri Vidya Kashi Pashupat Parampara, who started to spread the Vidya (knowledge) to the worthy ones across the North Gujarat. He is my Parmeshthi Guru and he was the Guru of my Param Guru(My Guru’s Guru) Shri Devi Baa and Shiv Guruji. He installed Shri Yantra at Amarkantak. He was Acharya at Kadi Raj Rajeshwari Peeth and he was who inspired Devi Baa and Shiv Guruji to establish a temple to fulfill the wish of his Guru Shri Ganpatramji.

Param Pujya Shri Devshankar Trivedi of Sanand was the main disciple of Shri Ganpatram Dave(https://aishwaryanand.com/2017/12/12/shri-vidya-guru-shri-ganpatram-ji/).  He was born 03/08/1920, Vikram Samvat 1976 Adhik Sharavan Vadi Chaturthi, Mangalvar and given Purnadisha at the age of 35 on Shravan Adhik Vad Chauth.

Shri Devshankar Trivedi was the Raj Guru (Spiritual advisor to the King of Sanand) and performed many Yagnas around Gujarat and also installed the Shri Yantra at Amarkantak.

He was one of the greatest Bala Tripurasundari upasaks (Child form of the Goddess) and living close the Great Bala Shakti Pitha of Bahucharaji, Guruji was regarded a great scholar in tantra Shastra in Gujrat. He was bestowed  the title of Mantra Pravin from the  Shankracharyas, for his adept knowledge and complete understanding of Mantra Shastra.

Below video shows Param Pujya Shri Devi Baa and Shiv Guruji doing Guru (PP Devshankar Trivedi Ji) puja before travelling to UK. Shri Devi Baa and Shiv Guruji consistently did Guru puja atleast once a month in most cases and before and after travel to overseas. There is no wonder PP Shri Devi Baa and Shiv Guruji reached to ultimate level of spirituality due to blessings of the Guru Shri Devshankar Trivedi ji.

18 # Year 2015’s Resolution- Read/Listen Books

Dear Readers

This is the end of the year and I am about to cross my annual book reading/listening target of minimum 20 books a year as reading is one of my resolution for year 2015 and will be forever in my resolution list.

Due to time and other commitments, I couldn’t read any of the books through physical copies but thanks to modern day storytelling via audio books, I was able to  listen 28 books till date.

Here is the list of books which may interest you if time is the constraint to you.You can use your commute time to listen such wonderful books.

  1. Jaya -An Illustrated Retelling of Mahabharata by Devdutt Pattnaik  – Wonderful peace of ancient epic covering all the stories some of them which you may not have ever heard of with different / logical perspective however it appears that it is high influenced by Wendy Doniger’s ideology and works showing derogatory views on Hinduism.
  2. Business Sutra – An Indian Approach to management by Devdutt Pattnaik – An Indian way to understand the management, very interesting illustrations and simple language.
  3. 7 Secrets of Shiva by Devdutt Pattnaik – An approach to explain Lord Shiva- An Indian Supreme Deity and his incarnations in simple logical way however it appears that it is high influenced by Wendy Doniger’s ideology and works showing derogatory views on Hinduism.
  4. Yatharth Gita (Bhagvad Gita) by Swami Adgadanand – Explaining Bhagvad Gita in its true meanings for life, more for spiritual growth and about winning internal war within your mind. Very different than stereotype Gita explanations. I actually ended up listening more than 3 times. MOST Recommended.
  5. Chanakya’s New Manifesto by Pavan K Verma – Very good book explaining India’s core problems and its possible solutions. Author is very well known ex-bureaucrat and politician.
  6. Asura : The story of Ravana & His Men by Anand Neelkanthan – A good book if you want to fantasize that Ravan was the victim of Brahim atrocities. This is fiction books which may have little historical facts embedded in it. Well narrated sending subliminal messages however it appears that it is highly influenced by westen liberal (breaking india) ideology showing derogatory views on scriptures, social fabrics and false fault lines.
  7. Ajaya : The story of Kaurava Clan by Anand Neelkanthan – Similarly a good book if you want to fantasize that Kauravas were innocents. This is also fiction having little facts sequenced in. Great as fiction book.Well narrated sending subliminal messages however it appears that it is highly influenced by westen liberal (breaking india) ideology showing derogatory views on scriptures, social fabrics and false fault lines.
  8. Krushnayan : Story of God Lived as A Human by Kajal Oza Vaidhya – A fiction novel imagining Lord Krishna’s feeling while he was leaving the earth as human. Very well narrated and I fell goosebumps even in some narrations.
  9. Stri – Lecture by Kajal Oza Vaidhya – A lecture recording speaking about Gujarati/Indian women, her attitude and empowerment.
  10. Gita : Karma and Destiny by Kajal Oza Vaidhya – A lecture on difference between Karma and destiny,which one comes first Karma or Destiny. Very interesting explanation those who are looking for the answers. Fresh perspective to those who wants to know about Karma and Niyati (Destiny).
  11. Gandhi and Celibacy by Kajal Oza Vaidhya – A lecture on mis interpretation about Gandhi and his actions especially on celibacy. Gandhi lovers/haters must listen to this.
  12. Scarcity and Childhood by Kajal Oza Vaidhya – A very emotional lecture addressing to the kids of orphanage and schools who live in scarcity. Wealthy/ advantaged must listen to this to have an empathy and compassion for disadvantaged ones.
  13. Draupadi by Kajal Oza Vaidhya – A lecture on the spirited woman character of Mahabharata, her empowerment and message to modern age women and men.
  14. Personality of Krishna by Kajal Oza Vaidhya – A lecture on character of Krishna and his personality explained in epic Mahabharata.
  15. Bringing Up the Child by OSHO Rajneesh – Osho speaks in response to a question about the right way to help children to grow without interfering in their natural potentiality.
  16. The Oath of Vayuputras by Amish Tripathi – he Oath of the Vayuputras is the final Audio book of the Shiva Trilogy. In the earlier Audio books of the trilogy, Shiva finds out that the Nagas are not his enemies and joins hands with them to reach the root of all evil.
  17. Chanakya Neeti by Chanakya –

    Chanakya was not gifted with beauty or looks, however, he was gifted with intelligence, creativity and statesmanship. He is the best administrator to be born to date. The greatest strategist of his time, his hard labour, perseverance and guidance bore fruit to Chandragupta Maurya and who became the Emperor of the great Mauryan Empire.
    Chanakya served as his Prime minister and he is still known for his great wisdom, far -sightedness, power of persuasion, manipulation and spreading dissension.Chanakya Neeti is a treatise on the ideal way of life, and shows Chanakya’s in depth study of the Indian way of life.

  18. My Journey : Transforming Dreams into Actions by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam -Transforming Dreams Into Actions documents the life of a young boy from Rameshwaram, who not only became a renowned scientist in India, but also held the highest post that the country could ever offer. Through the course of this book, Kalam tells his readers about key events in his life that brought him to where he is, today. Kalam doesn’t only talk about him being India’s former President, but as a boy, son, student, and scientist. Kalam’s hometown, Rameshwaram, was indeed a serene place to dwell.A very motivational piece of stories about his life.
  19. Gautam Buddha by Rahini Chawdhary – Very unknown facts about the life of Gautam Buddha starting from before his birth to after his death. Referenced from Pali Cannon. Very interesting to know more about Gautam Buddha.
  20. Swami Vivekananda by Devika Rangachari – I have read Swami Vivekananda’s biography many many times since my childhood however haven’t read from last 10 years which gave me fresh source of inspiration and energy. A great read with all facts about the life of Swami Vivekananda- The youth monk of modern India.
  21. Turning Points : A journey through challenges by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam– Dr. Kalam spoke to the PM, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, his life was set for an unexpected change. Turning Points takes up the incredible Kalam story from where Wings of Fire left off. It brings together details from his career and presidency that are not generally known as he speaks out for the first time on certain points of controversy. It offers insight not only into an extraordinary personality but also a vision of how a country with a great heritage can become great in accomplishment, skills and abilities through effort, perseverance and confidence. It is a continuing saga, above all, of a journey, individual and collective, that will take India to 2020 and beyond as a developed nation.
  22. Wise and Otherwise by Sudha Murthy – As a chairman of Infosys Foundation-philanthropic foundation, Sudha Murthy come across to variety of people with variety of situations. Their lives and incidents are well narrated in simple language.
  23. The Day I stopped Drinking Milk by Sudha Murthy – As a chairman of Infosys Foundation-philanthropic foundation, Sudha Murthy come across to variety of people with variety of situations. Few incidents which made Sudha Murthy to stop herself drinking a milk. Very emotional narration to the heart touching incidents happened to her.
  24. Stay Hungry Stay Foolish by Rashmi Bansal– The story of 25 such IIM Ahmedabad graduates who chose the rough road of entrepreneurship. They are diverse in age, in outlook and the industries they made a mark in. But they have one thing in common: they believed in the power of their dreams. This book seeks to inspire young graduates to look beyond placements and salaries. To believe in their dreams. A good read to those who wants to take knowledge based entrepreneurship.
  25. Connect the Dots by Rashmi Bansal – The story of 20 enterprising individuals without an MBA, who started their own ventures. They were driven by the desire to prove themselves. To lead interesting, passionate, meaningful lives. Their stories say one thing loud and clear. You don’t need a fancy degree or a rich daddy to dream big and make it happen. It’s all in your head, your heart, your hands.
  26. I have a Dream by Rashmi Bansal – This book gave me a motivation for my further course of life. The story of 20 idealists who think and act like entrepreneurs. They are committed to different causes, but they have one thing in common: a belief that principles of management can and must be used to achieve a greater common good. These stories say one thing loud and clear change starts with one person, and that person could be someone next door. Someone like you.
  27. Poor Little Rich Slum by Rashmi Bansal – What we think of Dharavi a biggest slum of Asia . Just a filth, poverty and deceases . We are wrong. I was wrong. One little two little three little Indians, four little five little six little Indians, seven little eight little nine little Indians… One million little Indian entrepreneurs. These are the stories of the little people who make up the Big Idea of Dharavi. A slum of energy, enterprise and hope.
    Where every hand is busy, every head held high.Where people could be miserable but choose to be happy. A choice each of us can make.
  28. Enterpreur -5pm to 9am by Kanth Miriya – You have a job. And an idea for a business. What do you do then? Crisp, reader-friendly and practical, Entrepreneur 5 p.m. to 9 a.m. tells you how you can become an entrepreneur even if you have a full-time job and are risk-averse. With facts, flowcharts and illustrations, this is a fast and super-useful read through which you will come away with a clear and solid roadmap for converting your idea into a viable enterprise and taking your venture from zero to launch. To be very honest this is the last book I am going through for the year but it is not as interesting as all of the above. This could be my experience only.

The transformation I have found in myself and my thinking is enormous and can’t explain it in words however can tell you one thing for sure that the person I am now was not before. Started to love my own company. I become very inclusive to the various perspectives. I hope it will keep transforming in upward spiral.

I am hungry and I am foolish.

6# Friendship Briefing

A friendship is the “volunteer relationship” a person would build during his/her life stages. The person’s life stage changes the perspectives to the friendship over the time. Some keep the relation same throughout the life and some changes due to factors like class-ism, importance, ignorance, avoidance and requirements etc.

I believe common types of friendship may have been seen are ,

  1. School/college Friendship : This is the honest and long-lasting friendship because it is not based on any hidden expectations/agendas. On the other side this is the tough to maintain because of the new friendships come along the path of the life.No expectations,no jealousy,tolerance and no hidden agendas are the factors which leads this friendship to its genuineness. Most of the friends of school times are always excited about everybody’s wellness and help.Even though they get little time to meet each other due to location,time,profession and other constraints.e.g. School friends’ meet always discuss about old good memories and everybody’s progress or helping each other.
  2. Nature Friendship: Nature can be a great friend in terms of loving a garden,river,mountain,forest,ocean or animals. This friendship generally is without any expectations.MOST SACRED FRIENDSHIP.
  3. Professional/Business Friendship : When the person enters into the profession, he/she starts making friends of same or different interests in the profession.The person generally spends one-third time of his/her day at the work so this friendship can be more deep and honest. This relationship could last longer till the death or till the job ends.It is entirely depend on how the relationship is maintained both way.This friendship is considered most volatile friendship.
  4. Social Friendship: The social friendship may be developed in many ways like relation with our kid’s friend’s parents, our neighbours or club members etc. This friendships generally changes as the priorities and needs of the person changes in his life during various stages of his/her life. Some people may find the social friendships are hardest to maintain over the time as same interest as it has been started. This type of friendship generally stay live when the friends are on same locations where they can meet regularly as soon as the location changes the friendship is getting blurrier and sometimes to the end due to lack of any communication.
  5. Family Friendship: People related via family,blood and other close means are falling into this category.This type of friendship is built due to the family known each other from long time.In family relation friendship,it has been seen many brothers,sisters,mothers,fathers,cousins,aunts,uncles and in-laws etc are friends of each others. This friendships are closely knitted friendships which may have lots of expectations too thus when this friendship get damaged,it hurts the most.
  6. Life Friendship : In this type of friendship,Only two persons can be your friend-one is your partner or yourself (God). Most intense relationship where you can share anything and everything.

Even though people surrounded by lots of friends ,why many of them are not happy with their current state of  friendship.

Here are the few reasons ,

  • Expectations : Expecting something from people is common but minimum expectations keep your friendship without complain.
  • Comparison : Comparing yourself with your friend is completely unjust to yourself as everyone is different in the fact of your priorities,needs,life journey and value system then why to compare? The difference make you more colorful than the dull uniformity.
  • Jealousy : Being jealous is common human instincts however once you understand what is your life journey about and nothing you can compare then there will be no space for jealousy.
  • Prejudice : A person who set an opinion based on the experience previously had from the person.It is unfair to yourself to keep going with the same thoughts. Be tolerant an accept the friend with new perspective. You may overcome from prejudice.

Friendship is the best relation in the world which can be maintained only by your dedication towards friendship,selflessness in the friendship,no calculations and less expectations.

In a simple words for any relationship “think about others before yourself they will do the same.”

5# Management Concepts : Dharma – The Absolute Duty

Dharma is the term with multiple meanings in the Hindu,Buddhist,Sikh and Jain philosophy. It is a central concept of the way of living.

Dharma translates into the duty, law, righteousness, rights, conducts, order, model or virtues. Dharma in a simple way can be described as personal righteous duty.

For example, Earning for family is a Dharma of family head. Working in the interest of the employer is the Dharma of an employee.

In more details, Dharma is moral responsibility of the person in the context of the society he/she is living in. For an example, An employee sees his employer earning out the profit by anti-social or anti-national ways. It is employee’s Dharma to educate or stop the company’s decision makers about their acts affecting their social and national responsibilities. another one ,

The nation’s Dharma is to protect their citizens and prosper but not in the cost of others’ sovereignty, environment and other resources.

So Dharma’s definition vary for person to person and it is complex however the one, who is conscious about the world,nation,society,family,environment and shared resources, shouldn’t have problem to distinguish the absolute Dharma from relative Dharma.There will be always relative Dharmas in your way while you will be thinking of the absolute Dharma.

When the person who put his/her self-interest before the general interest and affecting overall population is called relative Dharma, Absolute Dharma bent for self-interest is called relative Dharma. For example, A thief steals to feed his/her family. It is his/her Dharma to feed his/her family but not by the cost of anybody’s resources via wrong ways. The absolute Dharma is to feed one’s family but it shouldn’t be by wrong ways.

How to check your Dharma?

Think of Universe First then World then Nation then State then Community then Family then lastly Yourself. It may give you more clear direction to choose your absolute Dharma.
