Jai Bahuchar Jai Gurudev my fellow Sadhakas,
On the 8th day of my Guru mantra Anusthan, I would like to introduce the rare jewel of my Guru Mandal (Circle of Gurus) who dissolved himself in, nurtured and spread the Shri Vidya Reet until 2006. This my tribute to the entire Guru Mandal.
Shri ShivGuruji was one of the Guru of Shri Vidya Kashi Pashupat Parampara, who started to spread the Vidya (knowledge) to the worthy ones across the Gujarat and overseas specially Africa, UK. USA and Australia. He is my Param Guru (My Guru’s Guru), he and his wife Param Pujya Shri Devibaa established Raj Rajeshwari Peeth (Shri Vidya learning) Peeth in Kadi, North Gujarat which has turned into Kadamb Van of Shri upasakas of Shri Vidya Pashupat Parampara.
Param Pujya Shri DeviBaa and Param Pujya Shri ShivGuruji were main disciples of Shri Devshankar Trivedi (Shri Devshankar Dada/).
Param Pujya Shri ShivGuruji was born on 25/8/1929 to a very influential family in Kadi, North Gujajrat, ShivGuruji’s father was a leading Freedom Fighter. ShivGuruji was introduced into Shri Vidya by his wife Shri Devi Ba. He received diksha from Shri Devshankar Trivedi Guruji and immersed himself totally into Shri Vidya.
Guruji was an ideal gentleman and had a very warm and fatherly presence. He was always kind, supportive and spent much time in teaching Shri Vidya. Shri Shivguruji would spend 6 months in Kadi and 6 months abroad teaching Shri Vidya to many disciples around the world. He propagated the Shri Vidya Mandal UK which is based in the UK, which carries out Shri Vidya related functions and pujas.
As a combined effort, Ba and ShivGuruji, established the first Shri Vidya centre called Shri Raj Rajeshwari Peetham in Gujarat in 1983. Their unending contribution and service to humanity has led to the propagation of Shri Vidya not only in India but abroad in countries like Africa, America and Europe as per Guru Parmampara.
Both Ba and Shivguruji initiated many disciples across the globe – in the UK / US. Australia, Africa and India. They both propagated the Divine knowledge of Shri Vidya on a large scale and carried out many divine functions and pujas globally.
Many of these pujans have not been carried out in hundreds of years and each was conducted to the strictest of rules according to Tantra Shastra. Many Gajmakhas have been carried out including conducting the first one outside India ever on 01/01/2000 – coinciding with the Millennium in UK.
Regular pujans include – Lalita Sahasranam Suvasini Puja, Lalita Maha Yagas, Das Maha Vidya Puja, the historical Ashtaashtaka Mahayaga,Shat Chandis, Lalitha Sahasranam Chatur Laksharchana, Annakoot Vaibhav, Laksh Deep Archan and Koti Shodashiamba Makha and 1000 Shri Pujans performed daily for 1000 days!
Both ShivGuruji and Ba took Shri Vidya in the current Century, to such great heights and founded and created one of the most vibrant, active and authentic Peethams alive in the modern age.

They were graced with three children, the eldest being Shri Kirit Bhai, Shri Urvarshi Ben and Shri Nita Ben. All three have achieved Purnabhashika in their own right. As a stula form of Kameshwar Kameshwari, hundreds of disciples have been initiated in the Shri Vidya tradition. Many miracles were credited to Ba and ShivGuruji.
The great tradition and lineage is kept alive today by their daughter Param Pujya Shri Urvarshi Ben who is the Peethadhipati of Shri Raj Rajeswari Peetham Kadi, Gujarat.
ShivGuruji attained Mahasmadhi and left for Manidweepam on 8/6/2006.
